ADA-compliant signage
ADA Stairwell & Elevator Signs
Outfit every stairwell, elevator, and floor with code-ready signs — stairwell IDs, floor-level numbers, elevator signs, “In Case of Fire” instructions, and area-of-refuge signs. Most are tactile wall signs with raised characters and Grade 2 Braille (Myriad Pro); we also stock glow-in-the-dark photoluminescent versions that stay visible if the power fails. Made in the USA.

Meets the 2010 ADA Standards
Our tactile stairwell, elevator, and floor signs meet the 2010 ADA Standards (§703): raised, uppercase characters in Myriad Pro, Grade 2 contracted Braille, a non-glare surface, and high contrast, mounted 48″–60″ on the latch side of the door.
Stairwell, elevator & floor identification
The line covers stairwell identification signs, floor-level numbers, elevator signage, and “In Case of Fire — Use Stairs / Do Not Use Elevator” instruction signs — everything you need to identify and direct people through a building’s vertical circulation.
Area of refuge & rescue
Area-of-refuge (rescue assistance) signs mark the protected location where people wait for evacuation help, with the required identification and instructions. These carry tactile text and Braille, with glow-in-the-dark versions available.
Glow-in-the-dark / photoluminescent
Glow signs are made from a separate photoluminescent material (glow is its own finish, not a paint color). They charge under normal light and stay visible in darkness or a power outage, helping meet UL924 and IBC/IFC egress requirements, and carry Grade 2 Braille where required. Use them in stairwells and along egress paths that must remain visible during an emergency.
